Entertaining Children at your wedding PDF Print E-mail

wedding kidsReally Nice advice for entertaining kids at your wedding and reception.

But, do you realize that many are still recommending disposable cameras for adults?

There was a statistic that said that over 70%, and I believe its more of your guests will own a digital camera... why not utilize it?

Otherwise great advice to entertain the kids.

Digital vs Disposable

entertaining kids at your wedding and reception with disposable cameras may be a good way to use them up? I think though that they are just a waist of time and money. Think about it? £2.99 to £4.99 each then you have to pay for processing. and it dosen't stop there, when you do get your prints back the fist disappointment you get is the number of prints you get, on average only about 30% of the film is exposed, then when you get over that one you start to go through the prints that did make it and you notice that most of them are underexposed because the flash wasn't turned on and then there are the ones of the floor and people with there eyes shut and so on...
The whole thing is just so disappointing.
OK so you want to give the kids something to do to keep them entertained? so why not give then a digital camera that you can hire for a very low cost of around £10 you don't even need to worry about things like the cameras getting dropped etc as they are covered by the companies insurance? You have already said that most adults will have there own digital camera, the thing is I bet that the kids know how to use them much better than the adults!
What about that statement "the adults will have a digital camera of there own" Yeh that's true they will the problem is when the event/wedding is over they take them home with them, then you spends weeks even months trying to trace who had a camera and then getting them to send you pictures and guess what? then you have to print them or upload them to your computer and so on...
Why not give the adults a camera of yours to use as well as there own? ask them to use it for YOU so that you can relax while they record those wonderful candid moments and just great shots that only they will see?
You have spent probably in excess of £3000 on the reception not to mention the wedding why scrimp on recording the whole thing? Example, If you have 8 tables at your reception place one camera on each table £80 up to 400 pictures from each camera that's (now I'm going to half the numbers here as I doubt you will use 400 shots per camera) 200 X 8 = 1600 pictures to come home to? and remember that each time a picture is taken the taker gets to see it and if it's no good they do what we all do, delete it and take it again.
So what are you doing even thinking about disposable cameras? for the kids or the adults? Try www.weddingcamerasonline.co.uk you could save your day in more ways than one.
